Black Jack Turquoise is one of my all time favorite types of turquoise to work with. This particular stone was cut by an amazing Indigenous artist, Jason Hill. His work is amazing and I’m lucky to have gotten some go his pieces.
This stone is so earthy, I’ve been told that it literally reminds people of looking at the earth from space, and I completely agree. I made a very special band for this stone which depicts mountains and the Moon. One of my all time favorite pieces that I have created.
